GRWM + New Hard Candy Products

Hello lovelies! Thank you for joining me for this Get Ready With Me session! I will also be showing you some new products I discovered from Hard Candy! Step 1: Time to Prime!

I used Shiseido Bio- Performance Super Corrective serum  all over my face. I love this as a primer, it makes my skin baby soft and looking great! For my eyes I used Too Face Shadow Insurance . Apply shadow primer to the upper lid and I put a dab under my eye near my lashes to ensure my shadow that is on top of my eyeliner stays in place.

Step 2: Foundation and Concealer.

Now, it is up to you if you want to add your concealer before or after your foundation. MY concealer blends perfectly with my foundation so I use it after, just in case I don't need it.

I am using Kat Von D Lock it  foundation and concealer in Light 44 and concealer in light 16.

Since this foundation is so pigmented and slightly thick more like a cream foundation than a liquid, you only need a small amount. I rarely use more than 1 pump.

To blend, I am using a flat top kabuki brush for foundation and a small concealer brush.

Step 3: Highlight and Contour.

For this, I am using the Nyx Cosmetics Sculpt and Highlight Face Duo in Almond/Light

Apply and I use a small stipple brush to blend.

As added insurance, I also used a bronzer by Benefit Cosmetics color Hoola. I love this bronzer! I am very pale and this bronzer looks great on me and best of all it's matte. Definitely a staple in my kit!

To apply and blend this bronzer, I used my Sandistore Flat Contour Brush. If you have seen my blog on my review, you know I LOVE THIS BRUSH!!! If not, you can read it here.

Step 4: Blush

I went super simple with this Hikari blush in Tango.  and just used a round blush brush to blend. Most of the time I do a darker blush and blend it into my contour on the backside, below my temples and a lighter color on the apples of my cheeks. Today, I just applied this to the apples of my cheeks.

Step 5:Set

For this, I dusted my entire face with Nyx HD Studio finishing powder

I love this powder. It is ground so fine and feels cool to the touch. Keeps me shine free all day!

Step 6: Eyes

All over lid color, I used Notoriously Morbid's Highlighter in My Beloved (see blog post ), crease color Urban Decay in Backdoor from my Smoked Palette and The Balms Flirty from their Nude Dude Collection.

Step 6.5: Liner and Mascara

Using Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Perversion and a Black Shadow, Apply on Lash line and waterline, set with shadow.

I also used Perversion Mascara. This is, by far, one of my favorite mascaras.

Step 7: All about them brows, bout them brows, new product!

Okay, so I have not been able to wait to try this product!

Brow ink by Hard Candy. I was a little concerned seeing how long this wand was. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to work with.

The wand is flexible enough that you can get into small and tight areas for super sharp tails and flawless arch, yet not so flexible you feel its going to snap in half.  This is a long wear, fiber gel formula so it will be great for thin brows and is very similar to Benefits Gimmie brow without the cost.

This product gets a 'thumbs up' for a first impression from me!

Add some highlight under your brows and Voila!

Okay, so in other new products, Hard candy has some new lip colors!

Now I have tried the Fierce effects lip glosses and let's just say I was less than impressed, the pigmentation was not as powerful as I was expecting.. but these lipsticks, that's another story!

Just look at these colors! They have so many more and I plan on getting them all! Here we have Virtual Reality on the left and Night Queen on the right.

Virtual Reality definitely brings me back to the 90's. this is a beautiful chocolate brown with a little shimmer of gold. more of an everyday wear for me.

But that blue though! Night Queen is by far my favorite as of right now! This color has almost a chameleon effect with slight shimmer of silvers and greens. This color is great for the daring and those who want a more dramatic look. This is one I will be wearing a lot of!
