June Skincare Favorites

Hello, Lovelies! So, as I was getting ready for my day, I decided to share with you some of my favorite things that I am currently obsessed with!

Since I live in Florida, Summer's here are HARSH! I have been increasing my skin care routine and found some pretty great products!

Let's start with the first thing I grab for (after washing my face) -

Vitamin C Serum from Beauty Dreams

I purchased this at T.J Maxx and fell in love! I used to use Avalon Organics Vitamin C Serum but it did have a very strong smell and was more of a gel than a serum.

Due to my acne prone skin, I tend to stay away from anything that's super thick as it seems to clog my pores.

This is the best serum I have found (for my skin). It doesn't have a super strong scent. It's very light and you only need 1/2 - 1 pump.

Unfortunately, I am running out and have only been able to locate it on groupon, so I feel another trip to T.J. Maxx is in order.

While we are on the subject of T.J. Maxx, I did find another gem that I am IN LOVE with!

Dirty Works 8-in-1 Miracle Serum Youth Code.

This is the 2nd thing I use in my routine and it is Uh-MAZ-ING! Okay, so I know we are all skeptical when somethings says 'miracle', but I cannot explain how AWESOME my skin feels and looks since I have been using this!

Benefits are:

  • Improve Skin Firmness
  • Brighten
  • Hydrate
  • Even Skin Tone
  • Fill Fine Lines
  • Diminish Wrinkles
  • Stimulate Collagen
  • Smooth Skin Texture

I have started noticing a difference in my skin just a few weeks into using this product. I started using at night only so I could judge my skins reaction, then moved up to 2 times a day (after my vitamin C serum)

I did also purchase the detox mask and that is awesome as well! I will DEFINITELY be getting more of their products!

The last product is my face moisturizer. Now, I have tried ALOT and finding one that doesn't cause me to break out has been quite difficult due to a lot of the creams being super thick or heavy, until I found this:

Equate Oil Free Ultra Gentle Facial Moisturizer (sensitive skin)

Okay, so funny story with this one. I used to use the Neutrogena Oil Free moisturizer and it was doing okay, didn't break me out, but didn't give me the moisture I was looking for. I went to get more and they were out! So I thought, Hey, this should be the same thing let's give it a try!  OH-MY-GEE! I don't know what it is but I love this stuff so much better!! It doesn't break me out, it's not thick or greasy and it gives me the moisture I was looking for!

I use this twice a day as the last thing in my regimen and it feels like my skin has new life! They have knocked this out of the park! It is an Equate brand so it is available at your local Wal-Mart.

Now that I have bored you with my face products, on to 2 of my favorite body moisture products

I have VERY dry, bumpy skin and it is hard for me to find a lotion or body cream that I really like.I have tried 100 things out there. They work for a while then stop (story of my life) But, I was at the grocery store one day and saw a lotion that was on sale so I thought 'Hey I may as well try it' and I did.

Vaseline Intensive Care Healing serum

Now, I have tried the other Intensive Care lotions and they were so-so. This stuff BLEW ME AWAY! I don't know what miracle they put in here but oh my! You know how you can get those nasty razor bumps after you shave? Well slap this on after your shower and in like 20 mins the bumps are gone! I have not been lucky enough to find this in store again but you can get it online from places like Jet.com, amazon, walmart.com ect.

Another last minute purchase was c. Booth Egyptain Argan Oil Body Butter

I try not to use too many products that have harsh chemicals and stuff so I went natural with this one. This is the creamiest body butter I have ever used! it does very well at helping to maintain moisture. This is something I use at-least twice a day, sometimes with the Vaseline lotion above on really bad days.

This picture doesn't do it justice, but it's like a cloud of fluffiness and moisture! Free of parabens, sulfates, mineral oils and petroleum. If you aren't used to things like argan oil, coconut oils etc then you may think it smells a little funky in the jar. Once you put it on give it a few moments and the scent goes away.

I purchased mine at Publix, however, you can get it at Target and other stores.

Well, that's it for my Monthly Mania- Skincare Edition! Stay tuned tomorrow for my Monthly Mania- Makeup and other cool things!
