Ride or Die Makeup Tag/Challenge

6a3807142ce1d230b4bf86467120c2ea So, I've been seeing the 'ride or die makeup challenge' going around the YouTube world and I thought it would be fun to do one of my own.

I have chosen my all time favorite makeup products. The ones that I cannot live without. my ride or die products of all time. I will link where you can purchase these items. I apologize now for the lenght of this post and if it seems like a commerical for Kat Von D Beauty, I apologize :).

Let's dive right in!

First, we have primer. I know that I recently got this product, however, this has replaced all of my other primers.

I know that I have talked about this product in my latest Makeup Haul Blog so I won't spend a lot of time on this one other than one statement. It is THE BEST primer I have EVER used!

Moving on :)

Foundation: This one was a hard decision for me. I have two that I am in love with.

Both of these are great foundations. On more natural days or when I am going to spend a lot of time outside, I reach for the Fit Me foundation. It's a bit thinner and allows for a more natural look. Whereas the Kat Von D is a bit thicker and I use for events or photo shoots. The thicker consistency allows for more of a full coverage  and is great for covering any imperfections in the skin. Both of these have a matte finish and are buildable for more coverage.

Concealer: Recently I have been loving the Urban Decay Naked Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer ( check out my review here), but I decided to stick with my gut and go with

This stuff covers everything from discoloration to tattoos and scars. Looks great on camera and lasts all day!

It has a great consistency and is super blendable. You may have seen this before in my January edition of Monthly Mania. I loved it then and have since had to purchase a second tube. The best part is a little goes a long way!

Setting powder: Now, there's a category for under eye setting powder and face setting powder. I use the same one for both.

I cannot explain my love for this powder! I have used a million different ones and I just can't find one that keeps my makeup Matte and looking amazing all day. With others, I do tend to have to blot a little and re-apply. This one is different. It's magic in a container! It comes in Sheer, Corrective Yellow, and Shimmer. Shimmer is great as a highlighter and corrective yellow is a great alternative to the Ben Nye Banana Powder.

"The  e.l.f. High Definition Powder is a translucent, versatile loose powder that creates a flawless, "soft focus" effect to the skin. Masks fine lines and imperfections for a glowing, radiant complexion. This incredibly soft and invisible powder is ideal for everyday wear, either alone or over your favorite e.l.f. foundation"

Bronzer: This was another difficult one for me. I was stuck between this one and the Tarte Park Ave Princess Matte Bronzer, but I had to go with this one.

Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer.

I am not one who like shimmer in their bronzer. I am way too pale for all of that. Hoola gives me a beautiful bronze look and is my go to for bronzing and contouring. This product has great pigmentation without being too much. It is buildable for those days when you really want to sculpt. This is also the first bronzer that I had ever purchased so it hold a special place in my heart. This is a product that I can honestly say I have hit pan on a few times.

Blush: I received this in an Ipsy Glam Bag a long time ago and since then it has been my go to blush.

Hikari Blush in Tango

This is a beautiful matte pink Coral. This is my go to for just about every makeup look I do. I use this a lot in photoshoots because it looks great! Perfect for natural looks and can be built up for a more dramatic appearance.

Highlighter: Y'all know that I have a difficult time with highlighters. Most of the ones I have tried are either too glittery or really exaggerate my pores. This one doesn't and i just love the packaging!

This is a honey-hued lumizier that isn't super shimmery. It provides you a beautiful glow and can be built up for a more dramatic look.

There are 3 of the Manizer sisters; Betty-Lou (Bronzed highlight/bronzer) Great for darker skin, Cindy-Lou (a pinky toned highlight/blush) and Mary-Lou (above). Another great thing about this is that it is a multi-tasker. It works great as an eyeshadow as well.

My go to eyeshadow Palette hands down is the

Urban Decay Vice 3 LTD.

This is the one palette I can say that I purchased the day it came out. I am in LOVE with UD Shadows and this palette did not disappoint!

With 20 eyeshadows, you can do just about any look with this palette.

L to R: Chase, Provocateur, Crystal, and Nameless

L to R: Last Sin, Hoodoo, Goddess, and Backdoor

L to R: Roadstripe, Freakshow, Vaporize, and Deeper

L to R: Anonymous, Junkshow, Floss, and Disco

L to R: Laced, Blitz, Perversion, and Heat

Brows: This was a definite challenge for me.

Both of these are awesome products and it really is impossible for me to choose. I love them felt tip marker of the Tattoo Brow and Anastasia pigment is just amazing! I have to say, most of the time, I use both of these products together.

As you can see, I have worn these lashes to death! I haven't picked up another pair yet, bu I will be soon. I just love the look these lashes give! They are perfect for that cat eye look without looking super unnatural. They are super comfortable to wear and pretty affordable. What more could you want?

Lips, so there are a few categories for this. Let's start with lipstick.

Again, another challenge for me.

Both of these are beautiful colors, though I do tend to pick up my KVD a little more. It took me forever to find this color! I literally went to Sephora every day for 3 weeks to get this color because it was always sold out! Luckily I was working close to one.

I featured the Kat Von D Studded Kisses in my January Monthly Mania and then Nyx Up The Bass made it's appearance in my June Monthly Mania.

Now, for Liquid lip

I have a handful or more of these liquid lips and I love every one of them, but this color...

Anyone else notice the similarity here?

Lipgloss is not something I wear a lot of but when I do, I love

Just a clear sorta nude gloss with shimmer. It does have a little bit of a plumping effect so my lips look great. This was the first higher end makeup product I bought from Sehora. Before that, I was a M.A.C-aholic because there were no Sephora's near me. (ahh fond memories) Back then, I used M.A.C Lip Glass and Plush Glass.

Mascara: Since I received this in my August Ipsy Glambag, it has replaced all of my other mascaras.

Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint $23

One word: LOVE!

Last but not least Setting Spray

Now, I loved the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray and the Make up Forver Mist & Fix, but this drug store find has out done all of my other setting sprays.

Wet n' Wild Photofocus setting spray $5

I have never had another setting spray really feel like it just sticks everything in place. And for the price, $5, it's just perfect. "This exclusive formula extends makeup wear by preventing cracking, smudging, fading, or creasing. Works with any makeup and all skin types, plus it has aloe to hydrate your skin." The one thing I don't like is it has a bit of an alcohol type scent so it is a bit strong.
