F.I.F Clarins Energy Booster

Happy Friday!! Thanks for joining me in another First Impression Friday!!

Today we are going to be looking at Clarin Energy Booster.

So what is it? This is an add-in for your masks, serums, or moisturizers to help fatigued and tired skin. It's made with Ginseng which has" universal stimulating qualities which preserve youthfulness. Ginseng has a general stimulating action on the body and contains a large number of nutrients, notably vitamins." - from Clarins

I'm going to add a few drops to my Tony Moly Seaweed Aqua Moisture Lotion then mix it up a bit and apply it.

It may be hard to see but, the left it just the lotion and the right is with the Booster.

The consistency is oily, and I would say it doesn't mix completely with my moisturizer. It has a light Ginseng scent that's not overpowering.

Time to apply to the skin.

Okay, so it's hard to see in the picture but it left my skin a bit oily.

I let it sit for a while and as it was drying I noticed it made my acne scars, bumps and red spots more noticeable.

I am NOT a fan... My skin felt sticky and oily for a bit.

After about an hour, my skin didn't feel sticky anymore or as oily, but my skin was still inflamed and red.

Final thoughts:

I do not feel this product, for me, is worth the $39.00. It seems this does not work with my skin. I noticed a little difference with my skin looking a little more 'awake' but not an overwhelming effect. I just can't get past the interaction with my skin to use it for weeks to get the full results.

Have you used this product and had the same or a difference experience? Let me know!! I would love to hear your thoughts!
