Instagram Made Me Buy It!

So Instagram is great for finding new makeup products. However, Instagram has been bad for my wallet.

LA Girl Pro Concealer  $5.00

What is it:

These are opaque concealers that are creamy, lightweight, and crease proof. They are long-wearing to cover dark spots, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, and evens skin tone.

LA Girl has so many different concealers to choose from, a total of 28; 21 concealers, 6 color correctors, and a highlight.

I picked up 3:

GC973 creamy beige

GC 990 Orange Corrector

and GC987 Beautiful Bronze

Let’s use them and see how they do! Make sure, as with using any color corrector, that you apply this UNDER your concealer and foundation.

First, I will use the Orange color corrector for the bit of darkness under my eyes. Make sure you blend, blend, blend, and blend some more.

Next, we will go in with the lighter color to conceal the under eye

Now, we apply foundation and the darker shade to contour

In retrospect, I wish I could have found the Peach color corrector instead of the orange. Orange is great for darker skin tones, Peach is for lighter skin.

Final thoughts:

Out of the three I purchased, the only one I really like was the Beautiful Bronze. It’s a great cream contour and it’s buildable. I am not a fan of the color corrector currently. I find that I prefer my IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye better. The concealer itself is just okay. I prefer NYX Gotcha Covered Concealer; it’s $1 more, but you get the same amount.

I do like that it has a brush applicator, though I don’t like that the application is inconsistent. BE CAREFUL it is very easy to apply too much. Make sure you use a light hand and build it up if needed.

I can’t guarantee that I would purchase this again, but if I did it, would be for contour only.
