Products I Once Loved
Thought I would mix it up today and show you some products that I used to love. Now, this isn’t saying I don’t like these products, but I don’t use them very much anymore and they have been sitting around for a while.
At one point, this was my go-to foundation. I actually lost it for a while and happy I found it again. It’s a medium coverage, oil free foundation that was great for not clogging my pores and exacerbating my acne. It provided a natural, flawless look with a powder like finish. My favorite thing about this foundation is it has tappers in the formula that trap sweat and oil and pulls it away from your face instead of it getting trapped under your foundation. It still is a great foundation!
M.A.C Pro Longwear Foundation– $34
As with most, M.A.C was my first ‘high end’ makeup brand. In high school, when I wore makeup it was M.A.C. Pro Longwear was the third foundation formula that I tried. I started with the Studio Fix, then went to the Studio Sculpt, then Pro Longwear. This foundation is definitely long wearing and creamy. Always did great for the hot summer and lasted through the humidity. This foundation has is medium coverage with a natural matte finish. I still love the way this foundation looks, I just need a new one, this one is I don’t know how many years old! I keep it for more sentimental reasons. Maybe I’ll try the Pro Long Wear Nourishing Waterproof Foundation instead.. humm.. decisions decisions.
Palladio Rice Powder – $7
I still use this from time to time for those days where I feel super oily. Rice powder is great for it’s oil absorbing properties and it provides a silky finish. I don’t think I would purchase this product again unless they change their packaging. I want to take my powder with me, this box opens way to easily and powder ends up all over my bag! This is a loose powder with a sifter, and a puff.
M.A.C Lipstick in Chintz
Currently, M.A.C no longer carries this lipstick color. I have had this color since about 2005-2006. This was the first lipstick I purchased that wasn’t at a drugstore. In the early 2000’s frosted lips were the in thing. This color was perfect! I only wore browns (as most ) and this was my favorite color!
