What I'm Loving This Month
So, Last week, I was doing a de-stash and gather up some of my favorite items for this month to share with you!
*Warning* this may be a long post :) But hang in there with me!
First, we have:
Why I love it: I literally use this palette for EVERYTHING! Eyeshadow, highlight, top coat to lip colors, I even dab some on nail polish for a great effect! The possibilities are endless with this. As a cheek highlight, my go to is pink opal but I love amethyst and emerald for on the eyes!
My June Ipsy bag brought my favorite blush! I tend to have a difficult time with blush, if they are too pink, I tend to look like a clown, too red and I look like I have come down with some disease. This one is perfect! It's a soft rose color, works great with my pale skin and isn't super pigmented so I'm not afraid that I am adding too much. Super blendable and easy to build up if you want a little more. This is super long wearing! I was impressed how it lasted though me being outside, in Florida humidity and 100 degrees outside! YAY!
This is a beautiful translucent powder and has quickly become my favorite over my Laura Mercier and my e.l.f setting powder. This gives a velvet like finish and makes your makeup stay all day long. Even though heat and sweat. I do not recommend this for people with dry skin, as it can feel a little dry on the skin if not properly moisturized. If you want to try it before you buy it, it does come in a travel size for $15.
This mascara has been beaten and abused and I, sadly, have run out. This mascara changed my lashes! I have short lashes that don't like to curl. This makes them look like I am wearing false lashes. If you haven't tried this, you should! It is available in a travel size for $12.
This cute little cube works wonders. It's dual sided; one side is a salmon color to cover dark circles and the other is a concealer. Both products work great alone but work magic together. I got this at one of my many trips to TJ MAXX but it is available on Amazon.
In the past, like years ago, I tried e.l.f. foundation and it didn't look great on my skin. It seems as e.l.f. has upped their game over the last few years so I decided to give them another try. I am happy I did! This foundation is beautiful! It's flawless, doesn't go on or feel heavy on the skin, and almost has a velvet finish. The price is great though they don't have many shades. They have added more though most are online. This one is in natural.
Every time I do one of these blogs, my KVD tattoo liner always ends up in it... I decided to go with this one because it's a great dupe for KVD liners. Has a felt tip, super pigmented, lasts all day and is super easy to apply. This liner is a fraction of the cost of KVD and works just as well. I actually ran out of my KVD liner after one eye and used this on the other. You couldn't tell the difference! Talk about a dupe! NYX has amazing products and I love using their products. This liner has been my go to for a while now and I haven't looked back!
