T.I.T Silicone Scrubbies
After yesterday's issues, I am happy to be back! Though I wasn't able to fix all of my posts, most of them have been corrected. I apologize that some images further back don't have images and if I can, I will be redoing them.
For today's TIT, I will be trying silicone scrubbers.
You may know, a few months ago, I started a new K-Beauty skin care routine. These are something that is recommended in that routine. I picked these up in the skincare aisle at Wal-mart and thought I would give it a try and compare it to my Con-air Sonic Cleansing Brush.
I got this nice two pack for $2.48! So this is something that would be pretty affordable to add to your routine. Typically, I try to exfoliate my skin 2-3 times a week. Sometimes I will use an exfoliating wash but sometimes, when my skin feels a bit rough, I will use something like this.
So what is it:
used to deep clean pores, massage and exfoliate your skin. They also help soften, while tiny silicone bristles rejuvenate for radiant results.
There are two sections to this pad. The small bumps on the bottom allow you to maintain a comfortable grip as you exfoliate your cares away. The top 3/4 are little silicone scrubbing bristles.
The other side has a grip allowing you to put this between your fingers or hold on to.
Let's try it out!
For this, I am going to use my Tony Moly Pure Eco Bamboo Clean Water Cleansing Gel This is one of my favorite cleansers especially for mornings. It's light, clean, and makes my skin feel fresh.
First, we apply some cleanser to our face and work it around to start a small lather.
Then, taking the bristles, we gently scrub our face. You will notice it lather up a little more.
I like you can mold this so you can truly get to every crevice on your face. Works great for around the nose.
Once you are finished ( I typically scrub about 10 seconds in each area on my face (cheeks, nose, left forehead, right forehead, and around the mouth), you may be able to see the dead skin and dirt in the scrubbers
After I finish, I make sure to use an antibacterial, gentle, soap to disinfect my scrubbies.
Immediately, I noticed my skin looked a little brighter and felt fresh. Acne spots seemed to be diminished and not so inflamed. My skin also wasn't red and irritated as with my sonic brush.
It takes a little bit to get used to holding this but, it will be a regular in my routine.
What would you like to see me try next? Comment and let me know!
Until next time,
